This looks pretty hard. Mouth Fruit will present the accessible.

Are these in the right high-level topics? Should some be in more than one place? Is that a boring way to present the topics?

Presentation

Posts might hop from topic to topic, but a thread is woven through posts on the same topic.

🙋 Some parts might be cryptic. Please gently point those out.

🤪 Mouth Fruit is often goofy.

📚 Mouth Fruit presents knowledge.

🧑‍🎓 Posts tend to be in learning order.

Often posts are bottom up. And yet some are top down.

Comments

I hope to learn from those who comment. I will be pulling in information from all over:

  • Linguistics
  • Psychology
  • Ethnology
  • Economics
  • Rhetoric
  • Discourse analysis
  • World languages
  • Metaphysics
  • Language construction
  • and, yes, Child development

I don't have eight graduate degrees, though. As I am describing something in one field, I am scrambling to get up to speed on the latest in some other field.

If you see I am using terms wrong, let me know. If I am leaving out some important consideration, comment!

Mika (ME-kah)

Mouth Fruit is active in the analysis of the language mi.ka. Well, that seems to be the name, so far.

The team is discovering some features that are crazy, exciting and useful. Currently, this is the only place you can read about mika. So, stay tuned.

Mouth Fruit has some goals for using this language:

  • Illustrating concepts in this blog.
  • Experimenting with communication concepts,
    • in testing ideas we find and
    • in creating new concepts in dialogue.
  • Exploring whether it can be useful outside the blog in helping people communicate
