Quo Vadis Mouth Fruit blog?
Musing on musing, guests and the elephant.
Strolling
The Mouth Fruit blog will move into a more easy going mode. There will be more musings. There will be less of the research heavy topics. A few might sneak in though. There will be something every week, likely by start-of-day Friday in Berlin, but sometimes by end-of-day Thursday in Honolulu. Let's call this post an example of a musing.
So these hold true:
- The Mouth Fruit will continue. It might ramble.
- The entity known as Mouth Fruit will continue to run it. That is I.
Guest Writers
I will invite some writers to post blogs as long as they are relevant to fruitful dialogue.
Dar Scott
My first invitation goes to Dar Scott. He has a heart for what allows fruitful dialogue from a Christian perspective. He is developing the conlang Tapa to facilitate fruitful dialogue including that for trade between any two individuals in the world.
I'll leave it to Dar to introduce Tapa. I will leave you with a calling card for this artificial language:
Easy to learn.
Easy to speak.
Hard to misunderstand.
Elephant in the Room
Sometimes I watch a video. When I watch an online video from someone with something important to say, I find myself imagining an elephant in the studio, completely ignored by the speaker. It might be that the speaker is ignorant of the huge body of knowledge or somehow excuses it as irrelevant. Or maybe not irrelevant, just not a thing to mention to the group the speaker is addressing. The speaker does not want to loose fans. That is, maybe the fans are ignorant of or otherwise cannot see the elephant.

Tips
Tips are definitely not required. Soak up or laugh at all you want.
However, they are appreciated and they help with hosting costs and the costs of extensive computation and communication.
